Enemies take stamina damage similar to how players trigger block breaks on shielded enemies, using charged heavy attacks and hard hitting abilities to whittle down the character’s stamina bar.
Houses have different features, looks and cost. There are 4 tiers, with the lowest being the cheapest and the highest being the most expensive and offering more slots for storage, furniture, and a lower fast travel cooldown.

Here, amid lush wetlands, majestic waterfalls, and stunning architecture, players will counter the atrocities committed by the Empress’s Corrupted forces and the Dragon Magic she has been cultivating for centuries, ultimately exposing the her true plan, which reaches far beyond the shores of Aeternum.
Note: Although this quest is obtainable at a low level, the latter end of the quest chain (Doha's Secret Orders and Frede's Request) will require players to go up against level 130+ monsters, so it is recommended to do this chain with a friend, or to wait until you are a higher level to complete the full chain
It feels intensely repetitive even after only twenty hours of gameplay, so I’m concerned about how that will translate to the endgame – will I still, as an elite member of the Syndicate, still be wandering farms killing undead and picking taters? I mean, I do like picking taters...
PvP is a major part of New World, although it has seen drastic changes since the first version of the game. While there is a possibility to engage in PvP with other players and even fight massive battles over territory control, it is also possible to completely opt-out of PvP.
As of the preview event Magic in New World came with the use of Staves. During the preview event there was both a Fire and a new world gameplay Life Staff that could be utilized. Basic attacks and abilities with the staves costs mana and the damage done scaled off of intelligence.
